A permit may be required if any changes to the framing, mechanical, plumbing or electric. Permit codes vary by city, so check with your local building department or give us a call (888) 500-3551.

Bay Builders will fill out the permit application and obtain the permit on your behalf.

The permit is essentially the owner’s certification of authorized alterations to an existing structure, a receipt from the city. Therefore, permit fees are considered an additional cost and will not be included in the written proposal.

Yes, of course! We will provide you with a list of references tailored to your neighborhood and schedule a consultation.

Our consultations are complimentary, no obligation. An HIS registered project manager will meet with you at the project site to discuss in detail the scope of your project, city requirements/restrictions, and write you a formal proposal.
